Little Corn

Little Corn

I onsdags satte vi fart mot Nicaragua. Vi anlände till huvudstaden, Managua, vid middagstid och checkade in på ett hotell. Dagen efter åker vi ut till flygplatsen och köper flygbiljetter till Big Corn Island senare samma dag.

Bilden är tagen precis innan vi landar på Big Corn Island med vårt lilla enmotoriga flygplan. Från Big Corn tar vi en liten båt över till Little Corn, en liten paradisö befriad från biltrafik, like!

Lago de Yojoa

På eftermiddagen efter fågelskådarturen åker vi till ett vattenfall. Med hjälp av en guide tar vi oss in bakom vattenfallet (och halvt genom!). Det kändes inte helt säkert, men det var en häftig upplevelse. Ljudet var öronbedövande, det var svårt att se och andas, och stenarna var slippriga...det här hade inte varit en godkänd attraktion i Sverige.
